alternatively, is wonder woman a pop culture figure in your character's universe? is your character likely to know or mention that? if so, please also comment here so we can work out the specifics! i ask that you please not fourthwall diana until we've chatted about it.
thanks so much!

Infinite Crisis, Atlantis and Sub Diego both got effed over majorly and Arthur became the Dweller in the Depths because don't make deals with gods like ever or you'll get tentacles on your face, but no one knew that was him while he was dicking around with Artie Joe until Mera figured it out. And... then he dies until Blackest Night/Brightest Day, so she probably just thinks he's dead. :|a
On Arthur's end, he's from the end of Brightest Day, and also has his real hand back now instead of the magic water one, so she might notice that. Man, what the hell are DC timelines.

but yes all this sounds good to me! thank you for all this it is very helpful. (my context was "arthur hasn't been around the league for awhile", so i'm happy to know the reasoning!!)
but yes. congrats on the hand, arthur.

lmfao arthur really is like the crazy uncle who comes down from the attic once in a blue moon and the rest of the family is like "oh you're still alive"

if diana could get away with it, she'd probably be the same way over themyscira. or, if mama wasn't there to run it. so she totally gets where arthur's coming from.
